Indian languages

Your patient speaks Marathi. Your prescription is in English.

Consult the way you already do — in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali or any of eleven Indian languages, switching to English for medicine names. ScribeIn listens on the phone and writes the note in clear English, ready for you to review and sign.

How it works

1
You

Pick the language

Choose the consultation language once in Settings — or Mixed, when the patient and you switch between languages.

2
ScribeIn · on the phone

Listen

The speech engine on the phone follows the conversation in that language. No audio is sent anywhere or saved.

3
ScribeIn · on the phone

Write in English

The AI note writer turns what was said into your template — complaints, findings, diagnosis, medicines, advice — in English.

You

Check and sign

Read the draft, especially medicine names and doses, correct anything, and sign. Then print it on your letterhead.

A real Hinglish consultation, written up in English.

On our homepage, Dr. Patil sees a patient with fever in a normal Hindi-and-English conversation. Nobody dictates and nobody types; the phone on the desk hears it, and ScribeIn produces a one-page English prescription on the clinic's letterhead.

Good to know

Is the note ever in Hindi or another language?
No. The note is always in English, whatever language the consultation was in — the way most Indian prescriptions and hospital records are kept.
Does it need internet?
No. Recognition and writing both run on the phone. The first time you use a language, the phone may download its offline speech pack for it once.
What does Mixed do?
It detects the language as you speak, so a consultation that moves between Tamil and English, or Marathi and Hindi, is followed throughout. Mixed uses the high-accuracy engine, which runs on the phone.
Do hands-free codewords work?
Yes. Write your own codewords in any language or script, and built-in phrases in the consultation language work as well. The on-screen buttons always do.
What about medicine names and doses?
Say them as you normally would. As with any note, read them carefully before you sign — clinical responsibility stays with you.
